After Two Weeks, I'm Attached to The HP Media Center Extender
In an earlier post, I blogged about my experience in setting up the HP Media Center Extender, which extends the experience of the Windows Media Center 2005 Operating System to any television in the house via a wired or wireless network. In my case, I'm running a wireless network via the D-Link A/G Dual Band Router.
Since it's been about two weeks since I posted my setup experience, I wanted to post an update that everything is still running smoothly and after just a couple of weeks, I cannot imagine going back to pre-MCE Extender days, when I used a Tivo in my bedroom and MCE 2005 in my living room.
Having everything "centrally located" on my PC, such as my digital music and recorded television, is so awesome. To date, I've experienced no technical issues and highly recommend the Media Center Extender.
