Setting Up CableCard for 2nd Time Shows Flaw in Windows MCE Setup

Ok, this is not really a big deal, but it is something that bothers me. I have the HP Media Center with the Digital Cable Tuner. I'm using a Motorola Cable Card that I picked up from Comcast. Despite being told "the cable company has to come to your home and do the install," I just picked it up and was able to get things running the first time, fairly easily.

Now, something's happened and Windows Vista Media Center is not seeing the tuner. So I'm trying to go back through the process but it absolutely requires the USB attached "sensor" to be on the system during tuner setup. Problem is, the system is not seeing it and I cannot reboot my computer right now, so I'll have to wait until later.

The two choices during Tuner Setup in Windows MC are "continue" and "cancel." Would be nice if we could skip this part.
